I would be more than happy to help you create this. But you will need to grab me a screen shot of which gauges you are looking for. Unfortunately TKing has a number of gauges ( as well as everything else he has made) and I am not sure which one you want. In the zip file that you have here there are actually three different version of gauges. And I am not sure which of them you are actually looking to use. If you know which ones you want and you can bring up a pic of them and copy the pic to here I can go and find the files necessary to make the UI.

You are currently using the Avi Mod correct? If that is true do you just want the Gauges replaced within that mod or are you looking to replace the whole player window with a new window design? If all you are looking for is to have the gauges replaced that will take very little time once I have the graphics of the gauges that you want.

If you can get to Tkings page and give me the URL to the page you are looking at and the name on that page of the one you are looking for that would help. From what I can tell he has a number of different ones out right now. He has the New ones that he just came out with yesterday as well as the style of the one he uses in the old Standard inventory, and the one that he uses on his Standard Stone Inventory, which is similar to the one he uses on the forest inventory. I think he has a couple other ones out there as well. Just let me know which of those you are looking for and I will get to work.

ChronWaas, you can save yourself some time and trouble ... the coding for the tube gauges can be found within the celtic inventory itself, so ....

if Elffie wants to use the inventory as well, just change A_GaugeBackground/Fill/Lines/LinesFill to A_TubeGaugeBackground/Fill/Lines/LinesFill, as the coding will already be there.

if Elffie does NOT want the inventory:

Thanx Cairenn, I already went out to Tkings site and found those windows as well. Already have the code ready to go just wanted to make sure I have the right graphics.

Hey Elffie, I need to find out if what you are looking for is just to have the Gauges replaced within the current window? More or less do you want it to look something like this(of course the gauge colors would be set to the right colors. This is just a cut and paste to give you the idea)

Or do you want the Huge gauge in the middle replaced as well?

Let me know. Will take no time at all either way.

Chronwaas 01-22-2003 06:56 PM

Ok well here it is. Glad you like it. Let me know what you think when you get it up and running. You can find it here:

I will warn you though I had to make the window a hair larger to fit the Gauges in. But with luck it will not even be noticable.

Elffie 01-23-2003 02:16 AM

thank you so much :D I cant explain how much I love what u did, thank you :)

Elffie 01-23-2003 03:24 AM

well i got good news & bad news....

good new 1st, i love it & got it to work..

bad news, it doesnt work with tking invenroty windows =( i tried 3 diffrent ones & they all broke my UI =(

must be somthing with the codeing.../shrug..price i pay for having a cool new pw hehe :p

just letting ya know

Chronwaas 01-23-2003 08:09 AM

I can fix that if you like. Just attach the Inventory window that you want and I will make them both compatable. Just need the XML file for the inventory window you want to use and I will recode the two windows to work with each other.

Sorry didn't even think about the fact that you might be using some other TKing stuff.

Cairenn 01-23-2003 12:46 PM

Reason: With the last (couple?) t.king inventories, the filename of the gauges changed. It is currently tkinvgauge but it was previously tkgauge. Different file name + different coding = broken mods.

Solution: Change *your* custom coding to look for tkgauge instead (or vice versa).

Been there. ;)

its ok, i found a tking inventory that works, it just doesnt use the tkguarges :p

this one works, & I like it hehe :p
so it is all ok, thnx for the help anyway hehe
