3D Ring Patched 12/23/03
 

<img src="http://www.eqinterface.com/images/sections/eqpatch.gif" align="right">Seems that one of the things they snuck into the patch on 12/23/03 was the missing patch for ATI Radeon Video Cards (desktop, not mobilty)

Radeon Update
 

Appaerntly when they allowed for the Radion cards to have the targeting rings they allso bogged the cards down. I have a 9200 with 128 DDR and a 8X AGP and ever since the update for the rings my creeen locs for a few seconds at random times. I tried turning the graphics down, no luck. I was even staring at the wall in the POK (not bank side) and it locked up. It was even so bad that my computer crashed with a message about the video card not being able to re-draw. Oh, turning off the 3D rings didn't help either. Any ideas for a fix?

ok I must have been gone longer than I thought, what is the 3d target ring?

check out the pictures in the 3d targeting ring downloads area :)
its kinda neat.

hmm, about time, I first saw one of these on vampire:masqeruade...
