AngUI not loading - fails over to default
 
I downloaded the most recent version of Ang's UI, from July 1. Every time I try to load the UI, it reloads the default. My error log shows the following:

I saw someone posted a similar problem in an earlier thread, but there were no responses. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this?

need to add the verisign seal entry to animations and the tab entries to templates file iirc. best thing to do is do a compare between your files and default.

Thank you for responding.

I had tried even copying the default UI and replacing all the custom files from Ang (though I know many people say NOT to do that), but I still get the same error.

I am not a UI modder by any stretch of the imagination, so where would I find these seals and animations, and where do I need to copy them to?

hmmm it loads just fine for me..all required items are present and seems to work just fine.

I went and loaded the UI on another computer, and it worked just fine as well. Must be something with my desktop; I'll poke around at it later this week.

Just saw this post.
Sorry you were having issues.
As far as I know the latest uploaded version loads fine.
I'll be updating it as soon as the current test server patch goes live.

While that is usually a good idea, trying it with these files will make your eyes bleed and your head hurt :P

yeah i saw that when i did a compare on it..... btw you can push all the test updates live..i already did and they work fine....not posting till then though incase they add more 8).

Same here, I have all the test updates in the version of the the UI am running on live, but I won't release it until they go live in case something goes belly up.

paroxysmal, I think those errors you're seeing today are because of the patch done this morning. Once Angahran uploads the latest version, try again. :)

i used to use aya the last time i played eq so i got it again until ang is fixed
i definitely like ang better
