it wont load my skins...
 

when i try to load a skin i type /loadskin *name* true, then it acts as if i am zoneing... then it comes back to the default. No error messages, just resets. Whats wrong? anyone? been tryin this crap for 2 days straight and i got nothin out it... im gettin real pissed... :mad:

I had this very thing hapening to me as well. I had no idea what was causing it because it left no error message in my UIError.txt file. All I can tell you is, after removing the EQ Trade Skill Companion I was able to log into EQ using my skins with no problem. I haven't tried reinstalling the trade skill companion back into my mod as of yet.

Also... can u load single files? like all i want is a new invintory sncreen, could i put the inventory screens file into a folder and load that folder and it work?

If there are no error messages in your uifiles.txt log in your Everquest folder then look in the FAQ and read the last one. See if that doesnt help.

*you might have two Everquest folders. When installing some of the expansions the default install directory was changed and many people now have two Everquest folders. Right mouse click on the Everquest icon and click propertys... look at the path and see if its the same as where your going to access your uifiles folder.

No luck getting any prebuilt UI to work so far.

The above uierrors.txt tells me you are not installing the UI's correctly.

Go over the install processes and make sure the mod isnt going into a folder of a folder...

Whatever mod you are using has editted the EQUI.xml file to have this line:
<Include>EQUI_ExtraAnimations.xml</Include>

For whatever reason, EQ can't find that file (EQUI_ExtraAnimations.xml) in your custom folder, so it is going looking for it in the default folder. Not finding it there either, it is crashing you out of the game completely.

Two options:

1) Find the missing file
2) Open your custom EQUI.xml file and take out that <Include> line

i fixed it. now i get this message.

i cannot find the dile its looking for. i even re-unzipped the file and it wasn't there. any ideas?
