Hi! Cairenn just pointed me here... Yeah, I don't currently have any easier way to access the book because the t.king spell bar I'm using doesn't have the book icon on it.
However... t.king / Remelio just came out with a brand-new spellbar that has a little book picture on it. I haven't even had a chance to try it out yet, but it matches nicely with the rest of the stuff I'm using and I'll be giving it a try tonight. Check out this link to Remelio's website and see if the spellbar there suits you.
