EQInterface Forums - View Single Post - Group Leader

Although that's a rather brilliant way to highlight text (playername or anything else), there's no UI data that indicates who the group leader is. So, no, this can't be done. If they (SOE) ever added something to show who groupleader is, it'd be hardcoded to highlight a groupmate's name.
