ok a couple things to check on -

1. your file structure should look something like this :

Sony
- Everquest
- UIfiles
- default
- xml files
- my custom UI #1
- xml files
- my custom UI #2
- xml files

any custom folder needs to be in the same part of the file "tree" as the default folder.

2 . make sure you are unzipping the download - it wont read zips at all

3. also make sure the zip doesn't contain its own folders "built in" - if you are creating your own "new folder" yourself and then unzipping into it - you may well have another folder inside that -

and anything 2 folders deep wont show in game -

* Note : (subordinate folders here usually contain options for the UI that the author has provided, - make sure any option you wish to use is physically moved out of the sub folder and over writes the xml file its supposed to replace or it wont show)

hope this helps !
