Comes down to the custom UI IMHO. I can not see it happening with Default only.

Your using an updated UI but a 5 yr old download.. that's probably your issue.That author does have a nice ui for that era
Maybe I'll see if I can get it working;P (make it updated )
Look in Sony.. Everquest folder.. find UIErrors.txe .. so when in Everquest folder hit the U key until it highlights. open .. copy and paste here. Just out of curiosity.
