!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!=(
ok i have DLed both sidl fiddle and sidlwidl and both have errors... i got the newest version of fiddle and it says that i need java 1.4 so i got java 1.4 and now i gat a memory error. so then i tried 1.3 ( after unisntalling 1.4) the prog told me that i needed 1.4 but the site says 1.3 so i am uber confused
on the other hand i got widl and i cant exactly figure it out... i got it to work with a ocassional error while selecting my UI that i want to edit... but when i get in i can see the code, the pic of the window, and the tool bar but i cant figure out the tool bar... i tried draging it over ro the file and it made a "copyofplayer_XP_g" so after that i tried editiong the XML in the little window at the bottom but it said that i couldn't change the label
over all i think i may just go back to goin by hand
if anyone has so helpful advise please please please post it here thank you soooooo much =)

I use a combination of SIDLWidl and XMLWriter to do my mods.
XMLWriter for adding things into the windows, then SIDLWidle for moving stuff around in the window, alignment and adjusting properties of things.
I havn't messed with SIDLFiddle much because I can't get it to show windows anything like they look in game. It seems to only display the raw graphic for everything. *shrug*

I do basicly the same with SIDL Fiddle and Cooktop.
I do preliminary edits in Cooktop then load the XML file into SIDL Fiddle to see how it looks and make final tweaks (moving charm slots and buttons all over my inventory window, etc)
I've loaded SIDL Widl but never got off the ground with it since it's too finicky about loading UIs. If a file doesn't follow a very presice format (not necesarily the same format as the default XML) it locks up on me so I gave up on it. Plus I've never been able to get any support for it, where the author of SIDL Fiddle monitors and responds to posts on these forums (Many thanks for that BTW)
