UI Windows Misplaced...
No matter what UI I choose, and though I'm installing the UI files correctly as stated within the documentation here on the site, I always have this issue: - I install the UI files, then launch EQ...
- Once I'm in the game, I do the "/loadskin" and choose the UI...
- Then, no matter what, the UI comes up and the windows are splayed all over the place - there is no structure to them as there should be...
- And then, if I choose to load the Default back, it does the same thing...the windows are all screwed up.
- So if I close down and relaunch EQ, then come back in, the Default now displays correctly...
I'm running Windows 7, but am logged in as Administrator, so permissions aren't an issue.
Need to know what to do please.
Thanks.

Are you taking the UI author's UI_YOURNAME_YOURSERVER file and renaming it to your character's name and server name and then placing it in the main everquest folder? (not the UIfiles folder)
Make sure you are using the file with the correct resolution too and as the previous poster states, it makes a difference if your using windowed or non-windowed versions.
