I edited the hotkey box to make it small, and also have 6 slots on the right. Using the 6 slots you can free up the 10 hotkey boxes.

1st slot - primary weapon
2nd slot - primal from inventory 1-8

3rd-6th equipment inventory for easy right clicks

XML file at the bottom...

Within the file you can edit the 6 slots to customize it.
I added text tags to show them.

You change the EQType #'s per the list below.
Make a backup of your old hotkeys.xml file before playing with this.
