Update to my original post:
I just received a manual confirmation email in addition to the original automated confirmation. This one does confirm the free upgrade to 512 megs of RAM. Thanks for the quick response!

I've noticed in spec'ing out a system that when you REMOVE the CD-ROM from the order, instead of -subtracting- $20, it actually ADDS $20 to the total price.

With my setup, a CD in this system wouldn't make sense...and I've got misc. parts lying all over the place if I REALLY needed one. Thanks for the reply.

Ordered 2 today as well, only upgraded the video card to the 4200, UPS from Va to me is only two days (have friends that live there) should have by next weekend.
Just for the record, the first confirmation e-mail said 256M, then got a second one that showed the 512 upgrade.

Would it be possible to get this machine without the hard drive and save a little money? That option isn't available in the pull down menus

Another question...If you want tons of memory, can you use the code to just add another 256 onto your order? I'd love a machine with full memory, could I order it with 768 ram, and get it bumped up 256 with the code? The offer has been fairly specific about upgrading TO 512, 'tis why I ask

Yes - we are very flexible here and can accomadate most request. Please email us at [email protected] or call us toll free 1-866-966-7427 if you have a special request. Feel free to add more memory - we will automatically add an additional 256MB of memory above your order.

I'm thinking about buying one of these and just upgrading the video card one step and adding an OS. Can anyone who's bought one tell me how well it runs? zone time, any video lag, etc.
I'm usually in 1024x768 with all models turned off except for the race of whatever character I'm playing.

Hey all. First, I would like to say nice offer and the system looks really nice.
But, for the people that have ordered the system, can you comment on the load times of zones, and the performance of the system during raids, and maybe about running around in the bazaar? I'm really thinking about buying one and just was wondering if other people liked them.
Thanks for the time.
