Xymarra Manaetic Prototype IX Join Date: Sep 2002 Server: E'Ci Posts: 501	You are almost certainly putting the ui files in the wrong place or trying to read them from the wrong directory. Assuming your game is installed in the default location, try unzipping your ui files to the directory: C:\Program Files\EverQuest\uifiles\melee No capitals, no spaces, no punctuation. Make sure the directory starts out empty and do not copy any files from the default directory. After unzipping the UI, open up the directory to make sure the files are there and not in a subdirectory or something weird. In your eqclient.ini file and in your UI_name_##.ini file, make sure the default skin is being used. You should see this line in both files: UISkin=default Now, log into the game and type "/loadskin melee". Whether it works or not, exit immeditately. Open up the UIErrors.txt file to see if there are any messages there.

This is your only real error:

divos A Bat Join Date: Dec 2002 Posts: 1	problem ok this is all more or less beyond me, but i had the same problem exatly, what i found is that i had two UIfolders, (i only had this problem for an hour or so until realized this) and that i was installing in the wrong one, do a search for UIFILES on ur computer and then see if u have more then one file if so install into the file that doesnt have the custom UI already in it. i hope this helps
