Since yesterday, the price on the EBgames site has gone up to 24.99, and the release day has gone to five days later, being in March now. The price on gamestop is also 24.99, but with a february release date.

I wrote to EB for more information and obtained this response:

So the conclusion? I'm glad I'm able to download the expansion. It saves me the trip to the store, and really, the hassle of installing another set of CDs whenever I format. If the NEW 24.99 price is accurate, it also saves me $14 for my two accounts. Good deal.

But, I'm also glad there will be a CD version for people who are still on dial-up connections or don't have credit cards.

It sounds to me as if people who voiced their opinion in a calm, rational way, were heard and Sony changed their minds about the download only part. Imagine that?

not just box art.. bad art... they truely did just 'slap' on the T rating and the sony logo because their lines dont follow the box lines. It was obvious to me anyway.

I generally research all my purchases (and information) thoroughly before pushing the 'purchase' button so if I get bit in the butt its my own darn fault. Dont take your embarrassment out on some poor customer service agent.

Ok as of today the FAQ has been updated that a limited amount of Disk would be availble sometime AFTER the release date.

sooo it looks like they have listen to those who want it on disk, but they wont get them to stores by the 24th..

EB has it listed at 24.99 with a release date of March 1.

sooo for those who can't download... i feel for, cuz its costing you 7$ more and a week later..

for those who are just to damn lazy to download.. I say.. BBBBLLLTTHHHHHHH!!!!! (sticking tongue out) hehehehe
