Hello all,
Sorry to bug you's but I can't seem to get this GUI to load for me. I have used others before. So I think i'm doing it right but I'm obviously missing something.
I coppied a default file
Then moved these new files into it.
then in game changed to the higher resolution.
Then loaded only to get a error
what am I missing here?

Don't copy the default folder, you dont need to. Just extract the zip file into your /everquest/uifiles/ folder and you should be ok.

Thank you.
I got it working and was able to change a few Inv slots around, WHeww.
One question how can I change the pointer? is it a class specific thing?
I have a long sword which I find distracting
Thanks for your time had help

From the main post.. to download, right click the links and choose Save Target As..

Here's a new version of the EQUI_Kaori.xml file that has T.King and Remelio's Arrow cursor instead of the sword. Download this file too: tk_arrow.tga. It looks more like the original cursor and will come default in the next version of the UI.

You should like it better than the sword.

Solved your problem Averad. When you have a syntax error listed like that it means the code isn't XML compliant (not necessarily SIDL-related, hard to explain). To test this just open the file in internet explorer, and at the end you'll see where the syntax error occurs. I fixed the file, it turns out your "commenting" was a little messy where you told it to skip some tabs
The attached file should work.
I'm not completely sure which tabs you wanted but,
Quote:
I finished whatever had a <!-- at the beginning of a line or a --> at the end of the line. If you are missing a tab you wanted, just remove the <!-- and --> from the line where the code includes the tab.
