Sorry to see the loot window gone, I liked that compact little bugger I also noticed a couple small things while updating today,

The PureMelee_EQUI_Targetwndow has a problem with the targets health as it goes down, it just greys out and turns to blocks, and it doesn't have the /con indicators around it. I had forgot about that and had just been using the normal caster target bar. What needs edited in the caster bar to give it the endurance meter for the melees?

I also tried to use the Leftbuff shortDurationBuffWnd, but it must need updated, doesn't have all 15 sltos, and caused some errors.

The buff window got scrunched again, but switching to default, and stretching the buff window down, then switching back cleared it, I suppose the fix above works too?

1) As the hybrid UI still uses the caster window, there's nothing special that needs to be added to keep that current. If there are issues with any of the hybrid discipline windows, you'll have to let me know (screenshots may help too) because my only hybrid characters are < level 55.

2) I decided against using left-aligned buffs so those windows aren't valid anymore and I won't be updating them.

3) I have a compact loot window but it's ridiculously small at the moment and not a good size.

4) I will try to fix the pure melee's target window. I should just be a matter of copy/pasting from the caster's window.

I'm getting a new computer next week so I'll be more inclined to make changes once I can play again (2-boxing with SoF > my current comp's abilities).

I'm still around. Just almost too busy to play. I'll look into these. I assume you can still play with the UI you just get the error message?

It will let us use the UI if we make the changes to the animations.xml file listed here http://www.eqinterface.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=19778 but won't allow us to access the new features

I hadn't logged in yet today when I responded earlier. I have uploaded a new version. Only 4 files need to change iirc:
EQUI_Animations.xml (the usual textures, etc.)
EQUI_Player.xml (removing the volume button)
EQUI_Casting.xml (relocated the volume button)
EQUI_Group.xml (added the pieces here but couldn't see what they did /shrug)

Once SOE fixes the Voice CHat bugs, I'll probably need to fix the Group window. Be warned, you might want to keep a copy of your current one.

Hey Fazor,

Thanks for the updates! If you get a chance, can you modify the pure melee combat abilities window to have that little speaker similar to the way you updated the spell bar, perhaps to the left of the Combat Skills button?

I also noticed that the pure melee target window still has the problem of "graying/blocking out", did you ever get a chance to update that like you mentioned above?

I added the VoiceChat volume to the Combat Ability window. Relocated the discipline timer near the other disc-related things. I think the target window should be ok - I don't play a melee anymore so please let me know if it's not.

I think there was a problem with the melee's HoTT as well. I think that should be working too. It's a pain to test on my own. Please let me know if it still doesn't work.

I just DL'd the latest UI again, and it had the same filename as the last update, Delta3_Fazor_TBS_9_3_2008, and doesn't have the updated PureMelee combat/target windows in it, just the ones last modified 9/14/05.

Sorry - the default button when uploading a new file is to keep the old. /boggle
The new file (9_4_2008) should be up now. Still no guarantees that it's fully functional. :-)

I gave the new files a test this morning. The discipline timer works and I like the new position, but the target bar still greys out under 80%

I couldn't get the voice chat to actualy let me get connected this morning, so I can't tell if the combat window changes works yet.

Default 10/7/08 Patch

Hi Fazor,

The UI loads after the patch, just gets the UI has Errors message, and I haven't been able to test how it actually performs, but the target & player health bars are different, showing multiple colors in the bar while at full health, will reply once I get to play and can verify if anything odd happens besides the color appearance.
