Halp please =(
My custom UI is a complete mess at the moment...
I've got it nailed down to the UI errors just writing this:
UIErrorLog created at Wed Jan 29 18:02:37 2003
[Wed Jan 29 18:02:41 2003] [Line:194 Source:UIFiles\amura2\EQUI_SelectorWnd.xml] Couldn't find class:item 'A_SongBtnPressedFlyby' reference in FieldParseItemOfClass()
[Wed Jan 29 18:02:41 2003] Error loading skin: loading default skin instead.
I have no idea what that Songbtnpressedflyby is or what i'm supposed to do right now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Patch Fixes forum, 9 Jan 03 message, remember to include the changes to the EQUI_Animations.xml file as well as the ones for the EQUI_SelectorWnd.xml.

Okay, what you need to do is:
Go to your custom folder.
Find the one called EQUI_SelectorWnd.xml.
Right click on the name of the file and choose "Open With".
Choose NotePad.
Now, under the "Edit" command on the toolbar at the top of the screen, pick "Find".
Type in what the Patch Fix message tells you to find.
At the end of that, copy and paste the other information that is in that message for that particular window.
Save and close.
Repeat as necessary for the other windows affected.
That explain any better? I hate trying to tell folks what I mean via written text, it is so much easier in voice, or by actually physically showing someone. =/

Hey Cairenn,
I know its hard to explain things to other ppl like this. I'm trying the best i can to figure this out. Its still somewhat confusing.
when i tried find "a_songbtpressedlfyby" i got this section poped up:
<Button item = "SELW_SDBuffToggleButton">
<ScreenID>SELW_SDBuffToggleButton</ScreenID>
<RelativePosition>true</RelativePosition>
<Location>
<X>240</X>
<Y>0</Y>
</Location>
<Size>
<CX>26</CX>
<CY>26</CY>
</Size>
<Style_Checkbox>true</Style_Checkbox>
<TooltipReference>Songs</TooltipReference>
<ButtonDrawTemplate>
<Normal>A_SongBtnNormal</Normal>
<Pressed>A_SongBtnPressed</Pressed>
<Flyby>A_SongBtnFlyby</Flyby>
<Disabled>A_SongBtnNormal</Disabled> <!-- Will never be disabled -->
<PressedFlyby>A_SongBtnPressedFlyby</PressedFlyby>
</ButtonDrawTemplate>
</Button>
Your next step of what to copy and paste next has got me stuck:
My UI error writes:
[Line:194 Source:UIFiles\amura2\EQUI_SelectorWnd.Xml] Couldn't find class" item "A_songBtnPRessedFlyboy' reference in FieldParseItemOfCLass()
See where i am stuck?
Sincerly,
Amura

Ah, okay, I think I see where the problem is. Go back to the patch message in the Patch Fixes forum, and look for the stuff to change in the EQUI_Animations.xml file. Make those changes as well. Although the error message says it is the Selector window, it's because it can't find the Ui2D Animation info in the Animations file. See?

Hey Cairenn,
I got my UI to work. What i did was just copy and paste a new animations.xml from default onto custom and it got through. I'm with a set of different problems now.. but at least its working, its a step up.
Gonna keep trying till i have no errors what so ever.
Thank you so much for stopping by and helping me out on this. You have been amazingly patient with me and extremely helpful. Wish there was someway i could repay the favor.
Super thanks,
Amura

Knowing it's running for you is all the repayment I look for. That's why I'm a mod here to begin with.
If I can help more, let me know.
