Editing existing PlayerWindow
Hi
As i am a complete noob, regarding UI mods, i am asking for your help
Ages ago i downloaded a very simple and good playerwindow. after the patch it has become broken, of course.
Would anyone mind adjusting that version, so that it works with the new patch as well? it should look like this:
the red circle indicates where the combat indicator should go to.
i have attached the original version of this modification (Docc_PlayerWindow.zip)
thanks in advance!

Editing another existing Player Window?
Hello, I was hoping for some help on updating the Player Window I use.
Not sure if Shiv or Drakah are going to update this one.
Here is the info I have on it:
Name: Shiv Drakah PW.zip
Author: Shiv Date: 06-16-2003 03:31 AM
Description This was of course Drakah's Player window, but I decided to make it more Hybrid/Melee friendly by adding in AC and ATK on the window, and now I absolutely love it. This was my first attempt at modifying XML. Thanks to Drakah for some pointers.
here is the picture link http://www.eqinterface.com/download...mbs.php?id=2224
And hopefully I have attached the xml file EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Nayde

Small Update
I added a Tribute Timer in there as we all usually tend to forget to turn it off. You can download the updated file attached here.
Nayde, I suggest you contact the author of the xml file if you can. It also seems the graphics background needs to be changed as its size is a fixed size for that ui he/she made. I think you are also missing the health mana bar graphics files too.
EDIT - P.S. Nayde, My UI is similar to his except I'm using SoE's stock background, feel free to use mine till he/she updates his UI.

Addition to UI.
Just added Discipline Countdown bar below the xp bars since a guildie requested it. So if you all want this version of it, feel free to download it.
So far the player window has Health, Mana, Endurance, Rest timer bar, Xp bar, AAxp bar , Discipline timer bar, HPs/Mana/ATK/AC in numbers and the Tribute Timer.
I think this should do it for updates.
Scyt, the player window is similar to what I have going so you can download and use mine if you want to. I've added more items towards to the end but if you don't want the tribute timer or the discipline timer bar you can use the file I've attached on the 22nd of September.
lalala987, Cool :-)

I've had the same issue. I use a two-tab player window and would like to get it updated for TSS but I'm pretty clueless on this stuff.
Here's the link to it on here - http://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=2446 .
Other ones either don't have all this information (which I look at hourly if not more often) or they're way too large to fit in the space alloted in my UI.
Anyone have suggestions on how to modify this? I'd be willing to go to a 3 tab version like http://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=4642 if it were easier to manipulate given it has a lot more space available than the 2 tab one (though 2 tab is my preferred one)

Scyt, Make a new folder inside your UIfiles folder and copy the EQUI_playerWindow.xml file I made in it. Name the folder any name you want to. Go to Everquest and load the skin with your folder name. It will work. Its the stock EQ UI with changes made to the player window.
I'm assuming what you have done is that you copied the file in the default folder and everquest patched the file cause it didnt match the file with what they had.

I use http://www.eqinterface.com/download....php?s=&id=4615 as the ui that i am adding this window to along with most of the other ui peaces i have added to make it a nice working ui fro me

Scyt, are you talking about the UI you already have or the one you downloaded in the attachments above.
If you are using stock eq ui, my player window will work and it should work with other interfaces as long as the UI calls for a EQUI_playerWindow.xml.
If you are using a custom UI and I understand that you are, then to make it work, all you will have to do is rename the EQUI_playerWindow.xml to what that UI is looking for which should most likely work. Most likely the designer has renamed the Playerwindow to something else (if its at all possible).
