A basic viewport command would look something like this:
/viewport 0 0 1280 800
The first 2 numbers set the location of the upper left corner of the view on the screen, with the first number being the horizontal location, and the second being the vertical location. The second set of numbers set the size of the viewport, again with first number horizontal size, second number vertical size. These numbers vary depending on 1)what resolution you play in 2) where you want the window, and 3) how big you want the window. The exapmle command (running in 1280 by 1024 resolution) would result in a window that covers the whole top part of the screen, all the way across, with a black bar at the bottom for you to place your chat windows, info windows, ect.
/viewport 100 0 1180 1024
This would result in a black bar 100 pixels wide running down the left side of the screen.
Hope this helps!
