No change to anything voice or icon related in months...
Out of curosity I looked to see if this was related to soe's screw up of an EQtype... and to no surprise it is: <EQTYPE>closenotclicked</EQTYPE> was broke on the 3-12-09 patch and has not been repaired as of yet. ESC is about the only pita option at the moment.

Looked in the Archive and didnt see any graphic files that were unused what ones where ya wondering on? On the versions prior to 2.0 there were extra / bloated files just to get it back up and running asap, since v2.0 if you delete the directory and use the current one it should only have files that are used by the current setup.

Since your redoing the graphic files, if you sub out any of the DX_windowtype.png's with your own you should have no conflics.
(to test you can rename the .png/.tga's and see if anything breaks if there is no change then its no longer needed) I did think i had eliminated all extra files from 2.0+ but 1 or 2 may of slipped through
There will be a grapic change coming to the png and the xml for the group window, should not affect what yoru doing only xml change will be the way the flowing hp guage is drawn (reduced the png space required by 85%)

Most of the graphic work for me has been Largely guessing and cut and paste from other parts of the ui (i suck when it comes to graphics lol) it was why i would not have the time to do other rez's. If you need any help Ill try to help as I can.

-Added two new Ring Types

*I currently have NO clue what these are used for just patching to match Default UI*

Patch Note -=Claims EQType Fixed=-
-Fixed a problem that was causign voice chat volume sliders to get stuck on the screen.
-This should fix the <EQType>CloseNotClicked</EQType> Bug that will auto close them as well as the Tribute Window (at the time of this post the severs are still down for maint so .... we shall see

Coming Soon....
Spell Book:
-Horizontal Spell book that will replace the T Spell book now as default, T Book Will remain avail in a subdirectory/folder of the UI
-This Spell book will overlay Player/group Windows, leaving hotbox #1 (one with the clickies) free to access

Default Spell Bar

Have to say I absolutely love this mod! Not sure if it is at all possible, but it would make life so much easier if the spell bar could have the spell names/labels, (like some vertical spellbars have them). As a cleric having several heals up at the same time, they all look the same visually, and holding down Alt isn't viable since it overlaps itself.

Edit: Also, I noticed that if someone in the group is in another zone the color doesn't change at all and it gets rather confusing because it looks like they are there when they are not.

Default 5 more buff/short buff slots

As Most of you know the ui uses about every inch of space avail on the sides as is.

Now they are adding in 5 more buff and short buff slots...

Question I have is what is everyones input on this?

My Current idea at the moment is to rebuild both reducing the icon size a bit, while leaving the text same size inorder to make room for the additional 5 slots.

Anyone have any suggestions?

*** As for the Vert Spell casting window ***
it can be done, unfortunatly time is been a bit short so Ill get to it after the spell books go live (they are fairly close now)

Buff Window:
-Added 5 Additional Buff Slots (now supports 30 Displayed)
-Redesigned to further reduce the out of sync issues *1

Short Duration Buff Window:
-Added 5 Additional Buff Slots (now supports 20 Displayed)
-Redesigned to further reduce the out of sync issues *1

Pet Window:
-Added 5 Additional Buff Slots
-38 Buffs remain visable (total avail now reach a staggering 90)

Group Window:
-Player, Target, HoTT, Group HP gauges have had their tint slightly darkened (this causes those that are out of zone to stand out a bit more)

1. Out of Sync Issue with buff bars is a known issue by SoE Devs, there is no eta of this being repaired all tweeks on the UI's are to reduce the chance of this de-sync issue

Spell Casting Window:
-ALT key Names now Staircased
-When Pressing the ALT key, Spell Gems will display in 3 Levels
--1,4,7,10 are on the lowest, with 2,5,8 Middle, and remaining on top tier
--This is done to make the names a bit more readable when pressing the Alt Key
-This Modification changes no other function in casting or right click spell loading

*Any Feed Back on this would be helpfull

Short Duration Buff Bar:
- Icons are able to be clicked off now
- Revamp prevented you from being able to turn them off before their duration
- In the case of DA and BDA this caused some major problems but once again all is well
(sorry if this caused a wipe from your clerics not being able to heal after having to DA)

Spell Casting Window:
- Minor Change, Added a 4th Level to the Staircase Names
- the previous patch of 2.020a only had 3 and there were still name collisions on some names

-Oops sorry on those that use the Horzontal Buff Bar, I totaly forgot about this mod.

Horzintal Buff Bar:
-Now displays all 30 buff slots
-To Replace:
--Delete EQUI_BuffWindow.xml in the DeltaX Folder
--Rename Horz_EQUI_BuffWindow.xml to EQUI_BuffWindow.xml

Window Selector Window:
-Minor button size and location adjustment to remove some collisions

Is there a problem with custom UI and windows vista ??? I have tried for 3 days now to get one to work and it will not show up in load skin window could you help me or tell me what I am doing wrong?

Did you copy the UI_DeltaX_Default.ini into your EQ folder, not in the UI folder?
