Server Numbers
I just made a mod and uploaded it (Luz1.0), and it requires the UI_charname_servernumber.ini file.
I realized though that a list of servernumbers would be VERY useful to EQers who play on multiple servers (maybe with same name).
Anyone know where there is a list of server numbers???

You can do "nslookup <server>.everquest.com" and it'll tell you server number. For example for Tunare, I can do:
C:\ nslookup tunare.everquest.com
Name: eqworld-26.989studios.com
Address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Aliases: tunare.everquest.com
So Tunare is 26.

Edit: Removed the list. It was from the serverinfo.xml on the EQIM. The list there doesn't not correctly interface with the real EQ Server names and numbers. Removing it so there is no mis-information on this thread.

hmm... on your list Tarew Marr is 64, but it is really 80

SOE has gone thru the effort of renumbering its servers in the past. And there is nothing prevently them from changing them again at any point in the future. Just FYI.

There's enough files now that use the server number in them that I think it's too much of a hassle to change meaningless numbers.
