Just can't figure it out..PSP question
All I want to do is to duplicate a bank of buttons in TKing's hb.tga so that I have two columns of inventory slots and I can't figure out how to do it. The image "looks" like I want it to, and I can save the new tga file and open it with some shareware tga software and it "looks" like I want it to, but when I use SidlWidl, it still shows up with just one bank of buttons.
What am I doing wrong? I am a PSP newb by the way...today is the first time I've ever used it or any true graphics program. Thanks!

You have to remember to save the alpha channel. Using the magic wand, click on the image. When it is all highlighted, go to "Selections", go to "Save to Alpha Channel", overwrite the existing one. You also will have to change the size definitions for the image in the xml, obviously, to indicate the new width (or height).

/cry, I had already tried that Cairenn and it still doesn't seem to work! Like I said, I'm a graphics newb, but I still thought I could figure this out.

zip the image and the xml files and attach them here, I'll take a look at it, if you would like ...

Cairenn,
I've determined that the problem is that I can't seem to save the selection to the alpha channel and therefore when I save the image, only the original alpha channel is saved and not the new piece. I'll continue to play with it, but here's the zipped tga and xml file, thanks!

Happy to be able to help. Even happier to hear you figured out how to do it yourself, now you'll know for your next project.

Yes, the next one will be way more of a challenge. I want to make a BigBank based on TKing's artwork. I saw the one already uploaded, but I'm picky! :P
