I need MAJOR help

i have tried to download UI.........does it work NOT
ecliptic illusion, qualtar,are 2 of the UI's ive downloaded. (they are sitting in a file on the desktop now)

1. i can not find the eqclient.ini file
2. i found the UI_charname_servername....least that is found
3. i have the custom file in seperate folder, right next to the default one
4. WHAT exactly is a sub foler within the custom folder. the link picts are too small for me to see what you are talking about. (in the downloaded folder from site...there is 2 folders and files......what exactly am i coping--files and folders)
5. can NOT find any error files.........grrrrrrr

guess i need a major -detailed-step by step help here
i am about to give up using a diff UI

why would you need to edit the eqclient.ini file?

what UI are you referring to?

was this supposed to be a PM to someone?

i was told by someone in the eq game to do it.........was asking for help /ooc and that is what one person told me to do.....havent done it.

i did locate someone in game that was able to help.

and actually got one to run

so, trying a 2nd one to see if i have the same good luck


only thing is i noticed there are LOTS of UI's that need patching if i go by the last update.......dates listed.
