EQInterface Forums - XML not workin

caitilin A Bat Join Date: Aug 2002 Posts: 1	XML not workin ive downloaded a few skins/new target/grp things like that to customize my look but now when i start everquest and go in to my character it says xml not compatible how can i tell which one it is that i need to get rid of? cait

Go fig, it's now the 13th here, or almost, and I have yet downloaded the latest patches, let alone played with the UI recently. Have you taken a look at your error file as to the problem? I'm sure VI will still have kept that around. Cormanth A Shissar Defiler Join Date: Aug 2002 Server: Zebuxoruk Posts: 172	I believe not compatible refers to the newest EQUI_PlayerNotesWindow.xml and EQUI_MerchantWindow.xml files. These files were changed/added in one of the latest patches, therefore would likely not be included in some of the mods you are downloading. Just copy them from the 'Default' UI folder and paste them to whichever folder your current UI is in. -Cormanth

Remelio Featured Designer Join Date: Aug 2002 Server: Tarew Marr Posts: 173	I saw that happen once.. I had them send me the mod, what had happened was they had deleted the pet_hp from their mod file. Better than crashing I guess. Just dig through your uierrors.txt file to see what is causing the problem __________________
