Default xml question

do you need a special editor for this? im new at this ui stuff but would like to give it a shot. so far my attempts have been a hair pulling competition.. reason i ask if i need a special editting program.

It is not required that you use a complexed editing program. However, there are two very good programs that are linked to this site, so pick one There was a topic recently about the programs, so you should have no problem finding them if you search.

There are a number of threads in the Developer Discussions forums here that discuss editting the .xml files. Poke around, a lot of very good information to be found down here.
