Unhappy Simply Difficult

I recently changed my resolution to 1600x1200 and found my graphics card works better at this resolution. Sadly the only things I can resize are the chat text and a couple windows. All the mods I have found that will work with this resolution still leave me needing a magnifying to read all other text. I would like to enlarge everything so it is more visible and easier to use at 1600x1200. Is there a simple solution? Or should I sacrifice performance for funtionality and go back to 1024x768?

one thing i found out is if you make all the windows the same size your useing now, and buttons and all that .. then theres no reason to go up higher in res, then it will be just the same as before.. one reason it seems to work better is there are less things on the screen.. meaning everything is smaller.. so in my case i went back to the res i left...

I am still considering doing that. Its not just that it runs better , but looks better too. No more white edges or graphics that tempt me to turn on mipmapping. Everything is smooth. Even bazaar is slightly better.

Another thing I can't figure out is the skills button. Works on all my chars except my main. Not sure what I did to cause that but I am hoping its fixable.
