You will want to perform the PetInfoWindow.xml modifications listed in Cairenn patch fix. You can view all the fixes here: http://www.eqinterface.com/patch.html just scroll down to the petwindow mod.

Attempting to use file from Default skin." lines get added to the log file every sec and this makes it grow very fast, reaching 100MB+ easily after every playsession. Anyone knows how to turn the warning level log lines off?

There's no way to turn the debug level down that I know of.. To fix it you can do this: Open UIErrors.txt Delete everything in there Quit and Save it Then: Right click the file Click properties Look for attributes Check Readonly EQ can no longer write to this file! Only problem with this fix is: If the UI fails to load.. In your particular case, it means that it is looking for a specific file or files over and over and over again. Typically a graphic file. Check and see what it keeps asking for and can't find. Then, go to the author of the mod and see if you can find out where that file is. If you still aren't sure, post it here (the repeated queries, not the "looked for it one time, found it, didn't repeat it" lines).

This is the very informative line that gets repeated over and over again.

I will try to check if all of the .tga files mentioned in the modified ones (I only have the modified ones in the folder) exist. BTW Do the mentioned .tga file have to be in the custom ui folder or default is good enough?

BTW its more like 100MB / hour, so I had to do the write protect trick till i have enough time to play with my UI and locate the bugged XML file.

Negative. Only have one EQ folder.

Tried to attach the files, but getting "the page cannot be found" error. Will try it tomorrow.

You need window_pieces06.tga and window_pieces07.tga from a version of vert in your custom folder.. Also, EQ needs to know your gonna use em. After this line in EQUI_Playerwindow.xml or EQUI_Animations.xml in your custom folder: <Schema xmlns = "EverQuestData" xmlns:dt = "EverQuestDataTypes"/> You need this: <TextureInfo item = "window_pieces06.tga"> <Size> <CX>256</CX> <CY>256</CY> </Size> </TextureInfo> <TextureInfo item = "window_pieces07.tga"> <Size> <CX>256</CX> <CY>256</CY> </Size> </TextureInfo> Edit: Deleted Attachment since Kobu got it working Last edited by Talyns : 01-13-2003 at 11:53 AM.
