Default Horizontal Buff Window WITH buff text

Originally made to go with Kao's mod, it also stands on its own.

Please Note: No fear that it has a blue background, it is actually transparent, I just happened to be facing a somewhat blue coloured wall.Note: No fear that it has a blue background, it is actually transparent, I just happened to be facing a somewhat blue coloured wall.

Seems that this xml doesn't work correctly with Spiritwalker's Druidish Mod, or Drakah's mod either (both are 1024 x 1280). The first buff is placed correctly with the name below, but the 2nd buff icon pops up below the 1st covering the writing of the 1st and then the name is sent to the side. Strange..oh well, lemme know if ya have a fix fer this. Thx

Bleah, sorry, had been messing around with it to make sure I was content, and forgot to change a couple sizes back before zipping it up. Download is now the proper one.

/edit Also, asking Kudane to update the download on the main page to reflect the correct one.

Please let me know if you have any further problems with it.

You might want to include the red/blue borders around the icons so that people can see if its a good or a bad buff just by looking - a simple 2 icon border like what is around the spellbook would be sufficent, or you can extend it to go over the names as well.

Looks good!

Thanks Remelio. I wonder who I get my inspiration from?

There are actually supposed to be small borders around the icons. I see that the blue isn't showing up. I haven't yet had a chance to actually play EQ since I modified this, to discover if the red ones will show or not. If the red ones do show up, I'll run with it the way it is. If they don't, however, I'll try to figure out why not and see if I can figure out the coding so that they do.

What did you have your previous buff window's alpha set at? Where was it on the screen? Maybe it's either off the screen now, or faded out to invis? Beyond that, really not sure ...

The problelm is with the CS_Buttons.bmp that comes with Kao's mod. Delete it and you should get the blue border back around your icons.

Yeah I got rid of the blue buff background for my mod because it's not really necessary. The red is still there though.

I had same problem with it disappearing. It was there, just off the screen. I have a "bakup" folder I always use when I change a file. I /loadskin bakup 1 then moved my buff window to the middle of my screen. Then I reloaded the directory with the new mod /loadskin druid 1 and the buff window showed up. It didn't turn out working for me, doesn't seem compatible with the Sokol/Vert stuff. But that is how I got it to show up at least.

Cool

I noticed it only shows 2 lines of text, anyway you could make it show 3 lines? A lot of my buffs names at raids get cut off still gotta check them the old way. Otherwise i love this buff bar! Been waiting forever for someone to make one like this, i wouldv'e made one a long time ago if i knew much about modding these things.
