Default how to unbend target rings

ok, not sure I wanna try.. but whats the best way to bend something in a target ring so it appears straight in the image itself?

Start with it bent in the oposite direction when the ring is still straight. As the ring bends one way, the item will unbend the other. Really hard to get it right though

yes, i know.. was hoping there was an easy way, but here foes the 10,000 loads of a target ring! thanks anyway... i'll see if gimp has a plug in that will help, or check one of the other software packages has a feature that will help.
