Luminea A Snow Griffin Join Date: Sep 2002 Server: Rathe Posts: 54	Spell Gems Ive seen a few screenshots of players using the old spell gems. But Ive asked on one thread and no one responded. But does anyone know of a link or someone who has done this. I dont like the ones that came out with the new interface, and I am admirable for the folks who have created their own new, and semi content with the Warcraft III ones, but it would just make my EQ year to have the old ones back...(to remind me of the good ole days when I started EQ) If anyone has any answers or any help it will be GREATLY appreciated Thanks

She was kind enough to let me download her modified icons when i asked her on IRC after seeing her on that screenshot. http://webuser.bus.umich.edu/tle/oldspells.zip Currently im using Tking's buff and gem icons but just making this post today i see that JuuJuu had an entire set, for some reason i didn't notice that he had made the entire set i had only downloaded the spellicons1 and 2.tgas listed earlier in his thread. Either way i will probably modifiy it , especially in regards to bard song icons, I'll have to see. I personally liked the old UI icons because they were crisp and clear, and VERY easy to recognize quickly without having to actually 'look' at them. The new VI icons are terrible, they completely disregard the color schemes that classified spell types and the like. I don't like the backgrounds on the tking icons because it makes the gemicons somewhat hard to notice quickly. In my perfect world. the gemicons would be 40x40 just as the buff icons are, so you can make them large enough to spot easily. I'll prolly mix and match and slightly modifiy a combination of JuuJuu's and Kastrina's to my liking when i find time. Well i finally did it, modified a set that takes what i consider the best from Juujuu and Kastrina's gemicons/spellicons. http://www-personal.umich.edu/~tle/myui4.jpg It's really nice to be able to tell what spells you have up again and what buffs you have on. csivils A Fire Beetle Join Date: Sep 2002 Posts: 2	Due to a hard drive crash, I lost all my UI files... including my JuuJuu icons. If it were not for your new version, I'd have been out of luck!! Thank you, these look great. Just what I need. Craig
