Default Compass directional lines for Instances

Quite a few handfulls of people are still having issues with Instance directional lines not showing up on their compass. This is not an Interface coding issue.

The compass directional lines are drawn much like the lag meter is drawn in-game and cannot be altered. There is no interface graphic that can change this line whatsoever. If you are having issues with your compass not showing these lines, it is primarily due to a linkdead connection when you have an instance.

You can try to camp out to desktop and log back into EverQuest to see of the line comes back or try getting a new instance. If you have a member in the instance and have the leadership ability, you can use "find path to pc" or get the location of your party members in the event you are lost, you will still be able to zone into the instance regardless. There are times where all the party members are correctly listed in the instance list, but the person having the compass issue does not see their own name listed, this is a bug as well.

Again, compass directional lines for instances are not interface related, it is primarily a bug in-game, and it is suggested to /bug this occurance in the event this happens to you. Please be sure to note the steps how this can be re-created for the developers to look further into this issue.

Thank you.
