Actually, by working with a fresh copy of Vert version 2.2, I have discovered that the only error/bug/flaw in that UI is precisely this one. The 'A_CheckBoxPressed' animation was added in the latest patch and it seems to be the only real problem with Vert. And if people would read the posts here in these forums (doing a search might help) they would find that a simple copy and paste would fix this problem.

If you re-read the very first post in this thread, you will see that there are 2 sections that were added to the file EQUI_Animations.xml

Now, if you copy each of these sections, and paste them into the file EQUI_Animations.xml in your 'Vert' folder, your problem will be solved.

Ofcourse, I will be nice enough to attach a file so that you won't have to go through all the trouble of finding the solution on your own.

Please feel free to download the attached .zip file, open it, and extract the contained file to your Vert folder.

Like a few peeps, I can't use it anmore since the last patch. I deleted and re-built a new skin about 7 times and I tried several things, like to add the lines posted by Mykol in the right file, or to copy the modified file posted by Cormanth.... I also tried to add the new files from the new patch to the customskin directory, but nothing seems to work. I used the >loadskin< window to change the skin, and also the /loadskin command, but nothing works. Each time, I got an error of loading, and it loads the default skin. See, you're using a custom spellbook with a special animation which your UI can't find. If you want the skin to work as it was intended, grab the original spellbook file from the Vert UI and put it in your UI folder. Otherwise, find whoever made that spellbook and ask how to fix it. It's probably just something they added to the EQUI_animations.xml file for the eyes or something, and since you replaced the Animations file, it dumped the blinking eyes animation. Edit: I just took a look at Thangor's dragon spellbook. I believe that's where you got the book from. It seems you somehow killed the animation in that file. Try re-downloading the spellbook you got and se f that doesn't fix it. Last edited by Cormanth : 10-20-2002 at 07:32 AM.
