Ok I'll look at it tonight, it's prolly from the one little piece they added to that window. Shouldn't be hard to fix.

Yes it is just a matter of changing the EQType in the EQUI_HotbuttonWnd.xml. The whole list of EQTypes can be found here: http://www.eqinterface.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=18784

As an example, if you want to change Ears to Fingers =
The fingers are:
15 = L-Finger
16 = R-Finger

The ears are:
1 = L-Ear
4 = R-Ear

So open the above file using Notepad and do a find for:
<EQType>1</EQType> and replace with <EQType>15</EQType>

and
<EQType>4</EQType> and replace with <EQType>16</EQType>

I would also change the descriptor just above it in case you want to go back and change the item again later. The descriptor for left ear says
<Background>A_InvEar</Background>
so I would change it to
<Background>A_InvFinger</Background>

sparkthefire A Treant Join Date: Dec 2004 Posts: 28	since the last patch hey all, since the last update to the UI i have not been able to use the top spell gem.Ive tried using the UIerrors log but it doesnt help.Anyone else having that trouble or just me?Any suggestions plz. sparkthefire (ps...i use the tablets marble purple)

I just got home from work and as I suspected it was a pretty easy fix. If you're arleady using the patch from yesterday you only need to replace the EQUI_CastSpellWnd.xml from the version I just uploaded.
