Default Basic UI question

This is stupid and should be obvious... but it's obviously not, to me and a search didn't yield anything helpful.

Is the UI info saved seperately for each character, or is it global? Do the Mods/window positons/colors have to be set for each character, or once for all?

I'm sure that seems dumb, but even after playing with it, I'm not sure!

Each char has it's own UI ini file ( UI_<char>_<server>.ini ) in the EQ directory.

The mods are global, ie it's one directory. If you want a different one for another char, you need to create another directory for it and use that UI on that char.

If you want to copy settings over to another char, just copy the original char's UI ini file to the new char's one.

AHA!!

Okay... so, then, I can load different mods for different characters? I was hoping so, but confirmation is sweet! =P

Thanks!
