How many times have you accidently clicked that stupid Pet Get Lost button and accidently off'd your pet when you didn't need to? Well recently, I did a couple times, so I removed the pet get lost button (like many UI modders do). Then I found I WANTED the button at certain times where my pet needed to die and not having the button was inconvenient. I think I have the solution, observe the following diagram:
At number 1 you can see I have no pet.
At number two, notice the Pet Get Lost button is gray and I CANNOT CLICK IT! Although I have a pet, the button is inactive.
At number three, the button clearly works again (it's lit up with the mouse cursor over it). How did it change? Simple, I used the mouse scroll wheel and rolled it down and it activated the button. Scroll up to deactivate the button again.
At number 4, the pet window has an active get lost button and I have a pet.
This will be one of the quirky little innovations released with the next version of Enoks UI Sleek (I shoulda put it in v2; oh well).
