After looking at Elezibeth's EQII UI, I was inspired to change my interface into two sections like the EQII is. As usual this interface is designed to be used in 800 x 600 reso. It should be finished and ready for beta in a few days.

Please post any suggestions.

Also... If you look at the chat window the is still the basic outline for the chat input box. If anyone knows how to get rid of this, please let me know

i will answer here about your "decision" towards the background : choose the one you prefer for yourself BUT make it so that anyone can change it easily ^_^

For the chat window, set the Normal and Faded alpha levels to 0 ... you'll get floating chat with no window borders

I would but if I did that then the background that I have for the chat window would no longer show. I just want to rid myself of the borders inside the chat input section.

I like it, the shine-grey background reminds me of Might&Magic2. Maybe you could add some 8bit artwork to go for the complete retro gaming interface
