Default UI having weird problems since last patch

I need urgent help. Since last patch my customer UI is having problem which I cannot fix on my own anymore.

First I received the message.
UIErrorLog created at Thu Jan 18 19:27:42 2018
[Thu Jan 18 19:27:43 2018] XML reference error! TextureInfo[4]:A_SliderBackground[389] referenced but NEVER declared!

[Thu Jan 18 19:27:43 2018] Error validating symbol table.
[Thu Jan 18 19:27:43 2018] Error loading skin: loading default skin instead.

I copied some things back and forth and my UI loaded again. But now I have following issues.

Group window:

Suddenly displays three times the name, in mana and endurance bar

Spellbook window:

No spell names visible anymore

I always managed to fixed everything but this time I am totaly helpless. How to I change the text file back to black, I set everything to black but it is white.

I would be very happy about some help.

Default couple things

A_SliderBackground is defined in EQUI_Animations.xml.

Your UI must be using a custom version of EQUI_Animations that hasn't been updated in a while. (Most UIs try not to use this file because it changes so often it's hard to keep updated). I suspect you fixed that by switching to the default EQUI_Animations.

I suspect your UI also had something custom in EQUI_Animations that controlled the names in the group window. It's an easy fix with a small update to your EQUI_GroupWindow.xml, but you'd have to know how to fiddle with the gauges. Or maybe try downloading one of the other fine group windows on this site.

The spellbook issue is entirely different. This one affects almost everyone this week, even those who use the default UI. Both the spell names and the page numbers have switched to default white. I don't recommend fixing this in EQUI_Animations, as that would mess up other windows. Instead, it's best if everyone gets their EQUI_SpellBookWnd.xml updated. It's not hard to fix: just specify black text in all 18 of the places that it matters.

Default Spellbook fixed

Thanks for the help
My spells had no textcolor definition at all. I added the lines now for each spell and also for the page numbers. Only the buttons had a real color definition.
Before it was always black without definition.

Next step will be the group window. Whish me luck
