The link above is to an example of what I'm trying to do with my new interface. What is shown is the interface that a hybrid class that has a pet would use. I'm not quite done designing all aspects of the UI, but would like any input before I start coding.
One thing I'm going to try to do is make each window independent...so if you just like one window, it should be real easy to add it to your existing UI. Basically this means that each window will have its own .tga file and all graphic definitions will be located in that window's xml file. (No messing with the Animations File!!!)
As of right now, I'm only planning on doing 1600x1200 resolutions!
Please let me know what you think, or any suggestions you may have. Thanks.

Looks great so far!
Please edit the TGA borders so that a RoundedNoTitle style won't look screwed up on the Chatwindow borders if people want to edit them.
I myself kinda dislike titlebars and borders and I think its only taking away the space of another 1 or 2 lines I could see. 
Oh and it would be neat to see color changin HP-Bars if that doesnt take away too much FPS.
Perhaps as an Optional Download or so.

Seems like they will be customizable like Vert Windows so they align together pretty well. I think you will be able to arrange them in other resolutions as well, but wont have as much space for the chatwindows then and need to use a smaller /chatfonzsize. |

Love the look so far. Just hoping you will make the font large enough to read and the pointer so you can actually see it without searching for it. Those are the 2 things I have the most trouble with in almost all the UIs. Can't wait for the release.

I am soooo glad that everyone seems to like the layout and design so far.....BUT.... I'm not going to be able to do anymore on this UI. I just have way too many other things to do! I hope someone will take an interest in this and continue to work it out so that everyone can use it if they want. If you would like to take over the design and coding, just let me know by e-mail to [email protected]
I really only have 1 .bmp file that has different layouts and windows for different classes and the different button designs. Sorry I couldn't complete this!  Hopefully someone else can finish what I started. |
