Hmm never heard of this before, but looks interesting... I'm thinking that I'll go about signing up
edit - signed up and joined the team... on a side note it could be hours of entertainment just watching all of the graphs and bars go by on the client as it analyzes data

try this little addon to it, it gives you a map and more information, plus doesn't slow SETI down to much to look at your progress.
(NOTE) the program must be put in the same folder as SETI to work.
SETIspy
here is a full list off all addons

The system I was running my SETI@Home on was down for a couple months, so after I got it back up I had to get it reinstalled. Figured I'd join up too and add what I've done to the totals. I love this program.
EDIT: Just picked up that SetiSpy program to fiddle around with.

Yeah, I had it running in the background for months, since I didn't do much with the computer. I sometimes used it for EQ to be able to play a second character, but as it's so old now (P3/600, 512 MB RAM, old GeForce2 card, 6 GB drive, and Win98) I can't seem to get it to run EQ without crashing on startup. So now it's just a "goof around on" system.
Maybe someday SOE will fix the game so it will run again, but I suspect it'll require downgrading EQ's requirements back to DX8.0 since it was them going to DX9 that left me unable to even start the game on it anymore.
/sigh

This machine seems to be working very poorly now. If I could scrape up some money I'd upgrade it and get WinXP on it. When I first reinstalled on it, I tried Debian before I found my Win98 disc, but between not knowing enough about Linux yet (and not having the patience to learn right now unfortunately) and shortly after finding my Win98 CD, I just wiped and started over.
I just noticed according to my SETI Spy progress page, my rate is dropping. I think it was somewhere around 3 - 4 % per hour when I first reinstalled SETI@Home, but now it's down to 1.6 % per hour. Probably just have to reboot the stupid system to refresh the page file. I hate Windows9x anymore.
EDIT: Just rebooted and it's still a low progress rate. I guess I'll just have to let it be until I can spend some time tinkering with settings. At least it's still working and getting things done.

Here are my seti stats. I don't think that I'll be joining any team though. I have better stats than your whole team right now. 8)

Well considering we just started last week, and you've been going on for what appears to be a year, I'd expect you to have more...
