Default EQ Window simulation

Im very new to this XML thing so hope this dosnt sound too stupid.
I'm tired of always logging in and out of EQ just to see how my UI is looking.
Thought it would be a great idea if we just a Screen of some sort to test out our UI. Like an offline version of EQ which will allows us to quickly test out our custom UI's.

Not yet .. but there are a number of applications in the works.

You can be sure that it will be spilled all over this forum when any one gets released.

Just keep your eye out in the Chit Chat or News seconds.

Default EQ can be the simulation. ;)

I recently was editing XML files over my small home LAN.

Ran one machine in EQ and edited the XML files on another.

Than reloaded skins to see results.

It works quite well.

Lyeric has the right idea this is by far the easiest way. In fact you can keep the file open when doing reloads and EQ doesn't care. Of course if you don't have 2 systems then this doesn't help.

EQW is now allowed and people who were banned before have been restored - so I would suggest using EQW to make working on your UI easy.

Thursday's Update patch should ease this even more if the windowed mode is actually working (crosses fingers)
