Default Problem making Images ;(

ok I'm having some trouble with making osme images..

one for an example the mouse..I would make it convert it to a tga..then it loads on the mod..but it shows a back ground around it..so its like a pointer with a black box around it..how di I get rid of that.

Also how do I get an animated image to work with the interface, I noticed that when I look through the default TGA files like the beastlord.tga it shows more then one image on the same thing. HOw do I go about that? ( hope I explained that right hehe)

As far as the background square around your mouse thingie, I assume you didn't create the alpha layer for it, so the UI thinks nothing should be cut out (transparent) in the image you specified.

BTW, you don't have to *make* an alpha layer, at least not with Photoshop. It does it for you automatically.

Just put your pointer on a transparent layer, then save it as a 32-bit TGA file. The alpha layer will be created automatically. (Remember the 32-bit, not 24-bit. The extra 8 bits is the alpha channel.)
