TKing's Elfwood for Everquest
*************************************************
T.King's Elfwood for Everquest - version 1.0
*************************************************
Description
Elfwood is a nature based theme using vines, ivy, leaves, and tree roots. The amethyst stone represents the mystical magic of the Elves.
* This is a rather detailed theme, with all of the twisting and interwoven vines forming the very framework of panels. The concept was to organize vines into the existing framework, while maintaining the randomness of nature. Vines tend to grow up and around things, so it makes perfect sense to see defined shapes using vines.
Latest News - Updated Information:
* December 8th, 2005 - I will be patching in refinements to further improve the overall theme. (see release notes)
Be sure to read installation instructions, and any “Special notes” below.
- I'm planning to release (2) more themes before Christmas.
You can download this theme here:
http://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=4541
Release notes:
This is my second release of a graphical conversion 2005 edition interface. This interface contains T.King original artwork and design. Some planned enhancements to this theme are: - Spellbook animation, and animated leaves throughout the interface.
- A user-friendly install/uninstall, and possible skin switcher.
Installation instructions:- Save TKing_Elfwood1.zip to your Everquest\uifiles folder, and extract. Allow it to overwrite files if prompted to do so.
(PLEASE NOTE) When you select Extract All, make sure the destination for the extraction is \Program Files\Everquest\uifiles - and NOT \Program Files\Everquest\uifiles\TKing_Elfwood1\ - simply backspace over the \TKing_Elfwood1 path.- The .zip file creates the folder \Elfwood in \Program Files\Everquest\uifiles.
- To remove this theme, simply remove the folder \Elfwood and all of its contents.
- Launch Everquest, or issue the command /loadskin elfwood.
That’s all there is to it!
Special notes: - I'm working on implementing an installation program for the next update.
- I really like the way this theme looks and feels in Everquest, and I hope you enjoy this theme as much as I've enjoyed designing it.
Kuvasie and I will do our best to answer all questions regarding this interface. Thank you for using Eqinterface.com.
Team credits:
- Artwork/Design by T.King. | [email protected]
- Coded/Edited and Tested by S.Buchanon. (Kuvasie) | [email protected]
Special mentions:- A very special heart felt thanks to Kuvasie for helping me bring this UI to life, her hard work and dedication are as always unrelenting.

I love the skin.
The only suggestion I might have is I miss having the spell names on the spell bar. Could that possibly be added, perhaps as an optional download?
Great to have you back!

I have parts of it working (spell bar, hot buttons, spell book are working right), but the Window chats and all the rest do not look like it shows in the picture. My chat windows just has the gem on each side. Plus no cursor either.
Plus I am getting a red target ring with a yellow con mob.

love the work..just have one question
I love your work it is some of the best ever I just have one or 2 questions...
1) Me, My Wife, and a few friends use a horizontal casting bar that has the full spell name inside each icon in 1280 x 1040 mode it is about 9 inches long by 3/8th of an inch wide can ya make that bar with uer neat graphical designs? (we also use a custom player window that shows all pertinant info like stats saves exp (all forms) and mana, endurance it measures about 1.75 inches by 3 inches and is kept in the top right of our screen.
2) are you going to finish the Warrior, Monk, and Berserker 3d animations for the inventory window? those are the only 3 you never did finish from pre Sigil days.
Thanks fer the great work and time

Greetings and thank you!
1.) I'm fairly certain the spellbar can be modified easily to horizontal. Send Kuvasie and email at [email protected]. She prefers the spellbar this way, and has likely already converted it for herself.
As for the player window, again- I would contact Kuvasie as this also sounds like something she would have already made for herself. I typically leave my UI's at the default control layout, since I'm changing the UI appearance so often.
2.) This is definitely something I'd like to do, and I'm going to try and schedule this in for January release.
By the way, we will be going back, and patching interfaces to give them a lot of polish.

I absolutely love your work!!
I do have a question tho... I have noticed others having a spell gem with the names of the spells next to them. I like this idea since SoE has changed what the spell gems and buffs look like and it's hard for me to be able to tell what is what. Do you plan to make something like this also for your UI skins?
I would much prefer to download your work over someone else's primarily because it's done so well. I actually like looking at it
Thx for letting me bother you...
