I really like this ui alot, and use it all the time now. Only thing I would ask for is that instead of the decreasing spell cast box being tagged on the actual Bar/Book I would like this separated so I can move it more to where I look when I am fighting. Call me crazy but I just can seem to adjust to it being there. I use my hot keys to cast and really never look to the other bar much.

I love your spellbar.

I've tried to take your spellbar and use it with a different interface (Tabs) but I don't know enough to make the move, so I'm trying to modify your interface to have the things I'd like.

Hedien-

Thanks for posting your screenshot. It is interesting to see how people set up the windows.

Zheer-

I am considering making an "optional download" of the player/group window, adding gauges for group/raid leadership experience. It would require quite a bit of work to shift pieces down to make room, so I'm going to wait to see if other people make the same request to determine if it is worth the effort involved.

Leegar-

The casting gauge also appears as a half-gauge under the mana gauge. If that isn't convenient for you either, then check out the FAQ page on my website (www.lodidodi.net) which has instructions on how to bring back the pop-up window with the casting gauge.

Malys-

Other folks have requested standalone versions of my spell casting bars, so that is definitely one of the next things on my "to do" list. I hope to find time to do that in the next few days.

Man you do nice work, i had a look at your home page graphics sheet. I was wondering if i can request a few things. A stand alone version of the actions window and a mod of the combat ability window. You are the only one so far that i have seen that make the buttons wide enough for the type!. As to the mod, i play a ranger as my main so he only needs 4 of the eight buttons. If its not to much trouble can you make a stand alone version in a 2x2 button arrangement?

Great UI, but I have one slight request / problem. Do you have a .ini file that I can dl and rename to ui_mychar_server.ini so I do not have to rearrange the UI myself?

Also, I use the 1024x768 resolution.

Thanks.

Default Mouseover Text blocking casting bar

Lodi,

I love the UI, esp the horizontal casting bar. Only issue I've encountered is that the casting gauge gets blocked out if I cast spells by clicking in a gem. Would there be any way of moving the text for the mouse-overs a hair or two lower to allow the casting gauge on that bar to show up?

Thanks and keep up the great work!

Doc

Default Damn SOE!!!

3/30/04 Patch Fix: Lodi Dodi 2.0.4

Looks like SOE screwed things up. Any graphics stored in ".bmp" files don't display correctly, while ".tga" files are fine. That is why even in the default UI there are pink outlines around buffs, because those are from a ".bmp" file. Unfortunately I used ".bmp" files for the majority of my graphics, which is why everything is all messed up.

I just created Lodi Dodi 2.0.4 which uses all ".tga" files instead of ".bmp" files, fixing the problem. I uploaded it to the download section here, but it will take a bit for the moderators to approve it, so in the meantime it can be downloaded from www.lodidodi.net

EDIT: The moderators have approved version 2.0.4 and it is available in the download section here.

I assume SOE will eventually fix this (since it "breaks" the default UI) but if you don't want to wait for them, you can download 2.0.4 and you should be back in business.

Thanks,
Lodi Dodi
