when u instal the game, go to the folder: ...\KAIZEN Games\Priston Tale\char\tmABCD and there are lots of bmp, tga and others..

i downloaded the paint shop pro 10.2 and it still wont work...

And you pulled the files straight from there?

Don't bother getting PSP, you've already got PS. The .tga's aren't valid, period.

Well, those particular two that you posted weren't valid. Check the others. Check the .bmps in the folder. Perhaps do a file check, if the game in question has a way of doing that. But yeah, there's something wrong with those two, definitely.

First of all, the files appear to be in TrueVision TGA (TGA version 2).

If you run a 'strings' tool against the tga files, you will see:
TRUEVISION-XFILE

For whatever reason, even the IrfanView viewer cannot view it:
http://www.irfanview.com/

So either IrfanView does not read TGA2 files, or the files are corrupted. I have to believe the latter.

In any case, you are starting with a BMP file you claim. Another TGA editor that I have used is DogWaffle. I have used successfully on Everquest TGA files.

There is a commercial and a freeware (v1.2) version.
