Default Adding an AutoInventory area to Player Window

I am developing an enlarged Player Window to include all the useful stats and guages. I want to add an area to add to inventory whatever is on the cursor - in the same way that the View Character area does in the Inventory Window.

I copied and pasted the CharacterView section from EQUI_Inventory.xml to my custon EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml and made the changes to location and size. The new area in my Player Window works fine except that I cannot click on it to add an item from my cursor to the inventory. I find nothing in the code for the Inventory Window that seems appropriate.

Does anyone know what code makes the CharacterView area of the Inventory Window accept items?

Thanks for any suggestions.

it is hardcoded to the inventory server side, not a UI change that can be done. what you are trying to do is not possable without them releaseing a EQType for it.

Just a fyi , the 2 non-active slots in the potion belt are set to auto-inventory.
