Default 32" Wide screen help!

Hello, I am using an LN32A330 Samsung 32". The maximum resolution is 1360x768. I used to play on 1280x1024 but now I play on 1024x768.

I was wondering if there was a way to make everything smaller (similar to using /chatfont 2 and a 1600x1200 resolution) yet still keeping the 1024x768. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

edit: (Something similar to the effect of lowering a monitor's DPI)

To expound on what moonfish said.

with only 1024 pixels going left to right, there really is no way to shrink a font or image any smaller as there are simply *no* pixels left. If you turn it up to max resolution you can always try to enlarge the portions you want bigger and leave the stuff you want small.

What is the final outcome you are looking for? Larger boxes and smaller text? Larger character and smaller boxes and text?

I box sometimes and want to squish the clients all on this screen. If I could, I'd change the resolution to 2000x1500 but I can't.

Thanks all.

Your best bet is probably going to be to use a tiny UI that's designed for low resolutions. I have one that is designed for 1024x768, but has been used as low as 800x600 for boxing:

Stoplaughin's mini UI has some very nice touches too, with some really good looking tiny pieces (I love his spell bar).

PS. There's no reason to restrict yourself to 1024x768 either. I think EQ will accept custom full screen resolutions now, but at the very minimum you could run in windowed mode. You'll loose a tiny bit of space vertically, but gain an extra 30% on the sides.

I'd be very tempted to stick most controls along one side of the screen and use it that way.

Try running WinEQ2, it will let you use non-native resolutions.
