Default Adding remote buttons???

I'm just starting to get the hang of XML, but this is EQ we're dealing with... is there any way to add a button to control another button? Say a child spellgem (button) to control the corisponding Parent SpellGem in the bar? I would really love to get the spellgems into my spellbook for speed-swapping!

...or a way to attach 2 screens (attaching the spellbar to the book so it moves with it and is closed or minimized with it)?

An example would be to take a modified pet info and attach a modified group window to it so you don't have to re-align them if you move one?

generally speaking - NO. Most functionality is hardcoded to the parent window.

the exception - The exception are screen pieces which us an EQTYPE to define their content. These screen pieces seem to be available globally.

So most of what you you have asked for can't be dont.

so there's basically no way to create bottons to call the other buttons in another window? I already knew they weren't moveable and why.

my second was about attaching a relative position to another window so both moved simutaneously, making it seem like it's one window when in fact it's 2 separate winows. If this is a possibility, then would also need to find out how to make them both close or minimize simutaneuosly... like the way you can code the action script in a flash movie to call stuff from another library.

just some food for thought... being a hack-in-the-box
