The UI that I use

Orientis A Gray Wolf Join Date: Mar 2004 Posts: 5	Use Delta4 myself, as I'm not a fan of /viewport, and want something that has everything at the touch of a button but not overcrowding the screen. With the horizontal spellbar option it's the best hybrid UI out there imo, and looks fantastic as well. Only problems are: Resolution can be hard to handle if your comp doesn't do 1152 x 864 or isn't big enough for 1280 x 1024 (although I've managed to force it to do 1152 somehow, will see if the graphics patch screws it) Chat windows are a little small, but this can be sorted by getting fontsize / titlebar / bordersize altered to your satisfaction, or putting invisible text windows along the sides of the screen. I like the inventory availablility, the ability to see all my stats, and the group window that includes me also. The UI doesnt have a lot of fancy graphics in it but bars change colors and everything is easily moved around. As a Guild leader, I tipiccaly have somewheres around 6-10 tell windows open, and 6 chat boxes. Most of the UI is bits and pieces I've found on this site and others that worked best for me personally. One original file is EQUI_MyAnimations.xml, which is all the animations changes needed for this UI to work.

KK I'm going to sound dumb, but where did you get that tradeskill companion? Will it show recipies for diffrent tradeskills?

Also, that help style loc....where did that come form too??

Are they part of your skin or add ons that show up in game??
Sorry if this sounds stupid, I run a mostly default skin as you can tell from my post in the requests forum. I don't remember seeing these before....

I like the addition of the MP3 controls in the top there too....

The second one I don't think can be in just a skin, but it's a feature I've wanted for a long time so I'm going to mention it. #1 An Auto-fire feature: Currently, there is an external piece of software tht can give the Ranger a button to hit and it will fire till you turn it off. I don't remember the name of it, think I read about it on rgpexperts or someplace like that. #2 Targeting feature: I would like to see a way that would alow the ranger to target something from his track window, or at least con it. This would alow you to con or target or sonething from the track list. I'd like to see a be able to track a locantion or spot that they previously marked. I would also like to see them be able to track corpses, or at least track their own corpse. I'd also like to see the track skill raised form 200 to 255, especially since they raised the track skill of the druids. Daneleb A Bat Join Date: Mar 2003 Posts: 1	Sars_4_Hybrid is the best Ranger UI i have seen yet. Not too flashy, clicky and switch out slots close and customizable, all stats and xp monitors can be seen at all times. I added to it some custom spell gems and it gave a nice touch. But even without new spell gems, Sars UI is tops in my book.
