Would it be possible to make the target health bar the color of it's con and do away with a separate con bar?

Actually Cairenn, its stuck in the target window...but i have the target gauge implemented in my group window, all i did was size the default target window down to 28w x 4h px and locked it in a cutout slot. If you use the default target, you're still screwed, blued and tattooed.

Actually Inokis it is moveable ... but I have to go out right now, so I'll post a picture of it in a different window when I get back.

I just logged on to the test server, they added the target window.xml and the targetbox.tga...wasn't there before when I checked out the Test server changes.

Has anyone messed with this yet? I'm trying to move it to a certain location in my target window and I see an image of it like it has moved....but when I target something, the box still appears at the 0,0 location in the window. I can't seem to move it around.

That was what I was talking about and that had me so excited. That being said ... You can put it in another window, but it doesn't change colour to the con, it stays white. So I was right and wrong, all at the same time. Bleh. =(

However, the way they have it implemented now is a definite improvement over what it had been. It looks much better now than it did.

It looks like you had yourself targeted on the white one...which is how it should work, did u verify on a diff target that it didn't change colors in a diff window?

I verified that it won't change colors on a con and it was still located within the target window! I agree that for the default UI it looks better, but for my interface and I'm sure other's interfaces, it looks awful. I have editted the targetbox.tga file and think I have come up with a solution to my problem. Here is a picture of how I fixed this:

Dunno if anyone noticed this on test, but they changed the color for blue cons to a lighter shade of blue. Now I can actually read it when playing with a black chat window.

Noticed about fonts that you must build the UI after the font.
Several windows in my UI needed rebuilds to fit the text.

Cool to try but doubt i will use any other.

The change to the con system on the Test server shows the color of the con in the targer box. It is rather helpful, there are a lot of different fonts too. When you change the font, it will show the new font in all your windows, hotkeys, macro's, socials, etc...
At least that's how it's happining there.
