Okay well I did a test with my game... I'm crazy that way just to help out people when I can... I removed the EQGFX_DX8.DLL file, which seems to be the problem, from the folder and the game replaced it with a fresh one. So you can delete the file of the same name and the patcher will replace the missing one. Try that and see if it works. NOTE: Only do this if you feel comfortable with it. That is why I tested it first and it did work for me. The patcher downloaded the missing EQGFX file immediately. And if you decide to try it, let me know if that fixed your problem. Good luck!
